AGENT SERVICES
France Direct Travel Services acts as booking agents for the travel companies or operators who'se pages are featured on our web sites. Your contract is firstly with the transporter and travel service you buy, and secondly with the owner of the property you rent. Any complaints or questions regarding crossings or accommodation should be taken up with operators or property owners concerned. France Direct Travel Services cannot be held responcible for any loss or damge incurred, but will do its utmost to resolve an problems that arise and act as intermediary between their clients and property owners/tour operators.
MAKING A
BOOKING
A booking can be made by fax, email or by completing our on-line quotation form. The completion of our quotation form does not form part of any contract between France Direct Travel Services and the submitter of the form. Once the appropriate payment has been received we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking in writing on behalf of the service providers, which completes a contract between yourselves and the service providers. Check this written confirmation and ensure the information is correct. We do not accept responsibility for the consequences if errors or omissions are not reported within 48 hours of a confirmation being issued.
PAYMENTS
Full payment for all Crossings, Hotels and Insurance must be made before any
tickets or Policies are issued. We reserve the right to cancel any travel
service we provide if payments are delayed. Any ticket changes will be
charged at £35. We cannot guarantee we will be able to meet all requests as this
rests in the hands of the service providers.
PRICES / INFORMATION / AVAILABILITY
Prices, Information and Availability may change due to the service providers right to alter any of the above. We as agents reserve the right to pass these changes on to the purchase at the cost incurred. All details regarding prices and availability will be confirmed at the time of booking. Should these change after booking the changes will be passed on to you the customer.
CANCELLATIONS
Results in the following charges. More than 42 days before travelling £35. Less than 42 days before travelling - 50% of the total cost. Less than 14 days before travelling - 100% of the total cost. In the unlikely event that France Direct Travel Services has to totally cancel your crossings etc - A full refund will be given. We offer insurance at competitive rates to safeguard against cancellation. We strongly advise that this is purchased.
FORCE MAJEUR
We cannot accept liability in any circumstances where performance of the contract is prevented by reason of: War or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, flood or adverse weather conditions, acts of God, closure of ports or airports, epidemics, government action or any similar events outside our control.
